Dr. Michael Caione HBK, DC
Dr. Caione was born and raised in Thunder Bay, Ontario where he received his Honours Bachelors of Kinesiology degree from Lakehead University. After receiving his degree in Kinesiology he moved to Calgary to pursue his Certificate in Advanced Athletic Therapy from Mount Royal University.
As an Athletic Therapist Dr. Caione was blessed with the opportunity to work with multiple populations that ranged from chronic pain patients while working in a chronic/complex pain program to National and Olympic level athletes. Through Athletic Therapy Dr. Caione had the opportunity to work closely with Chiropractors and realized how well the two fields complement each other and decided to pursue his Doctorate of Chiropractic. He received his Doctorate from Palmer College of Chiropractic West in San Jose, California.
While attending Palmer College, Dr. Caione was the vice-president of Palmer Sports Council and provided Chiropractic/Medical coverage for a variety of sporting events such as: Santa Maria Rodeo, Escape from Alcatraz Triathlon, Sea Otter Classic, National Cheer and Dance Championships, San Jose State University Rugby, and the Susan G Komen 3-Day Breast Cancer Walk.
Dr. Caione combines his exercise rehabilitation and soft tissue background from Athletic Therapy with his Chiropractic background to provide his patients with the tools needed to help treat and prevent injuries and increase their quality of life.

Registered Acupuncturist, Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine Philippa graduated as a Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2010 from the Canadian Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Calgary.
Philippa blends her analytical and problem-solving skills together with her understanding of how the body functions from an acupuncture channel point of view to help others regain health and freedom of movement. She works together with her patients in identifying and correcting these underlying causes, which is part of the treatment protocol and healing process.

With over 20 years of experience and education, Tanya can provide a very thorough and well-rounded approach in the treatment and care of her patients. She received her Certificate in Medical Acupuncture through the University of Alberta in 2001 and then went on to receive her Gunn IMS certification in 2004. She learned Gunn IMS from the inventor and founder of IMS, Dr. Chan Gunn. Since this time, IMS has become the primary focus of Tanya’s practice and she has extensive experience in providing IMS to many types of injuries. Dr. Brian Boisvert
Dr. Boisvert initially obtained a BSc in Exercise and Health Physiology from the University of Calgary in 2008. From there, he earned his Doctor of Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic – West in San Jose, California. He graduated Summa Cum Laude and was the valedictorian of his graduating class. Dr. Boisvert also served on the school’s esteemed Sports Council, treating both amateur and professional athletes in many sports – triathlons, rugby, rodeo, ultimate Frisbee, biking, fun runs, and many more!
Dr. Boisvert believes that healthcare is a multifaceted approach in which no one therapy will fit everyone. In addition to traditional chiropractic practices, he is also Full Body Certified in Active Release Techniques® (ART®), Graston Technique®, Titleist Performance Institute® (TPI®)Golf Screening, Rocktape®, and Functional and Kinetic Treatment with Rehabilitation (FAKTR). Physiotherapist / Orthotics Shauna has a sports medicine focus in her physiotherapy practice and has dealt with sport injury, biomechanical dysfunctions, gait retraining and post op recovery from surgeries. She uses critical thinking and deductive reasoning to formulate a diagnosis and treats accordingly. She believes active rehabilitation where both parties understand the problem and are actively engaged in the treatment. Her goal is to rehabilitate the patient and to ensure he or she has been given the tools and resources to maintain injury free and at their high level of performance in their sport.
Additionally, Shauna has completed certifications in Part A in orthopaedic manual therapy, gait analysis, custom orthotics, and functional dry needling.
